Lene Ritz, Chief Risk Officer and Team Leader at Energinet
Why is participating to the European Risk Management Seminar important to you?
It is important to participate for several reasons. The seminar contains learning from peers and experienced speakers about hot subjects within Risk Management. Networking and exchange creates new ideas to bring back home.
Why is the theme ‘’Corporate Risk & Finance: how to finance the ever growing universe of risk? ‘’ relevant in today’s fast-pace world?
Especially now when we see a hardening market, a risk manager needs to identify any potential synergy between both the ERM work but also with the finance department.
You will be presenting “Reconciling ERM and Insurance: Getting the best of both worlds”, what would you like the audience to remember after your session?
My main goal would be that we all see the value of synchronizing the work of ERM and Insurance in a broader term.
How will the role and responsibilities of the European risk managers evolve in order to aim for a green and digital future?
The general role of the Risk manager for the future will mean higher demands of our ability to analyse with or without a direct economic impact.
