Why is participating to the European Risk Management Seminar important to you?
For me, the focus on learning, sharing cross-border information and meeting peers have always been key. Now after the COVID-19 isolation period, it is even more important to evaluate experiences with business colleagues.
Why is the theme “Corporate Risk & Finance: how to finance the ever growing universe of risk?” relevant in today’s fast-paced world?
The title of this Seminar was already set before the COVID-19 outbreak. More than ever, it shows that we need to be prepared for the potential high financial consequences of unlikely risks.
You will be presenting “Supply Chain Exposure: How has the Covid-19 pandemic changed the global picture?”, what would you like the audience to remember after your session?
After HIV, Ebola, SARS etc. we should have known better. Now, we have to face reality and the impact on supply chains is under everyone’s microscope.
How will the role and responsibilities of the European risk managers evolve in order to aim for a green and digital future?
I see new ways of working and new risks. It is business as usual for the Risk Manager, and “never underestimate any unimaginable risk”!
