Valerio SCACCO

Valerio is a Partner at PwC’s Risk Modelling Services, where he leads value propositions focused on risk quantification and forecasting, primarily for capital management and strategic decision-making purposes. With over 15 years of experience in both financial and non-financial risk areas, Valerio has been at the forefront of developing operational risk models. Notably, he has led the creation of an advanced methodology and tool for cyber risk quantification, integrating cyber intelligence and security data into actuarial modelling techniques, in order to effectively help companies identify, measure, and manage their exposure to digital threats.

Valerio holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Rome.

Beyond work, his commitment is mainly dedicated to being a loving husband and father to two daughters. In his leisure time, Valerio finds joy in music, particularly through captivating live concerts.
