Oriane VALDELIEVRE
- Oriane Valdelièvre is in charge of Claims Transformation and Client service in APAC Europe for AXA XL. For the last 2 years, she has been leading the transformation of the claims activities for the benefit of clients, employees and partners, across 14 countries in Europe and Asia. This includes:
- Defining and overseeing the execution of the action plan initiatives
- Leading the data & analytics journey from claim-by-claim management to claims portfolio analysis and innovation
- Representing Claims in legal entity governance bodies and sharing about the monitoring of claims portfolios, activities and projects
- Communicating about claims in external and internal events and thought leadership articles, and via videos/Townhalls
- On this last point, she has been actively sharing her convictions in the insurance market:

- Presented at Reuters’ Future of Insurance Europe conference (October 2022, Amsterdam) about “Leveraging technology and data for complex claims”
- Presented at Insurtech Insights (March 2022, London) about “The automation technologies revolutionising the claims experience”
- Contributed to 2 thought leadership papers: “The Future of Claims Optimisation” (May 2023, reutersevents.com/LP=35179) and “A claims organization fit for the future” (April 2022, Reports: A claims organisation fit for the future | Insurtech Insights)
- She started her career in consulting at KPMG, before joining the insurance industry working for the strategic advisory arm of Aon in London (Aon Inpoint). She joined AXA in 2016, where she held several roles in strategy and business development in AXA’s headquarters before joining in 2021 AXA’s division focused on large risks for multinationals and large corporates called AXA XL. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII).
- She is passionate about engaging leaders and operational teams on client and company needs, simplification, data analysis and innovation journeys. She loves to connect people across teams to deliver common goals, engaging and truly collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, breaking hierarchy barriers and department silos. She helps teams to clearly express and prioritize needs, and then bring tech & data teams to best answer them with modern tools and simplified processes (including with digitalization, platforms and AI). She is convinced of the opportunities and rationale to innovate in the insurance industry, and she wants to bring this change thanks to the large-scale impact of AXA.
