Lene has made it her goal to make a lifelong contribution to ERM and Insurance.

Lene is an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager & insurance specialist. She is an international orientated professional with strong business focus and a demonstrated history of delivering results in several financial and business development areas within banking, oil, food and energy businesses and the public sector. Lene is awarded Risk Manager of the year 2018 by DARIM and Risk Manager of the year, Public sector 2020 by FERMA and CRO. She was awarded the prizes for her work in developing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and for being a resource in relation to knowledge sharing and networking within the field in a European context. Being Chief Risk Officer for several years she has in depth experience with development of risk management strategies, policies, and operating procedures.

Through decades she has managed risk exposures both within renewable energy transmission-; oil-; and financial-businesses in an international setting.

Furthermore, Lene is a specialist in insurance strategies and the different operating lines and extensive research and development of setup for construction all risks insurances especially within the green transition. Alongside these tasks Lene’s has held board positions including in FERMA and has during the years amongst others finalised education at INSEAD such as executive management – and executive board program. She is recognized as being analytical, structured, result orientated with high personal and professional integrity and interpersonal competencies to get the message across on a common ground.
